I don't think it is who you think it is, I haven't seen her to be a nuisance. I think that she feels as though her son is a good ball player. Which he is-a good ball player in football, basketball and baseball.

We're happy you think your son is a good player. We wish him well.
I don't know what I would do if my Mom would have wrote a letter like that, it has to be embarASSing
Sorry, but I don't have a son. I don't know what you are thinking.

It's pretty obvious what he is thinking.
Uh.. sorry. But yes you do and it's the one being talked about here.
Good players sit the bench all the time. Hell, I've seen many players in the past not get much playing time cuz they had to wait their turn. That's life.
I remember a letter like this being published in The Post when I was in high school. I went home and thanked my parents for never embarassing me like that. It's my opinion that if this lady's kid gets more PT, this letter doesn't get written. And if the problem is as bad as she makes it seem, why has she waited until this year to write this letter? This whole thing is self-serving. She should thank God that she has a kid healthy enough to even be on an athletic team.
Seriously 82...how many kids whose talent warranted more playing time can you remember that warmed the benches at PV back in the day?...me and you together don't have enough fingers and toes to count em all. Those kids had to wait their turn..and when the time came, if they didn't perform they were right back on the bench. Just how it is. Transfer the kid to Ervinton and he can get all the playing time he wants.
I was one of those kids. And you are exactly right. If you didn't perform, someone was right there to replace you. What this lady proposes is good for rec leagues and intramurals, not high school sports.
